Rand Airshow

RAND AIRSHOW

The annual Rand Airshow returns for another day of tricks, stunts and demonstrations. Featuring old warbirds, helicopters, military displays, aerobatics, as well as food vendors, a beer tent and a kids zone. Guests are welcome to bring their own their food and refreshments (not alcohol).

Ice Cream Tasting

ICE CREAM TASTING

As part of the Magalies Rocks the Cradle Festival, spend time tasting a variety of ice creams, sorbets and puddings at the factory. Entry fees are donated to the Magaliesburg Child Welfare Organisation.

Macbeth

MACBETH

Pieter Toerien proudly presents Abrahamse & Meyer’s take on Macbeth – William Shakespeare’s shortest and most thrilling tragedy. The production comes to Johannesburg on the heels of its European debut at the world’s largest and most prestigious International Shakespeare Festival.

Decorex

DECOREX

Decorex Joburg is Africa’s largest premier decor, design and lifestyle exhibition. Celebrating 25 years this year, the event has 7 halls, over 22000 square metres of exhibition space, and more than 700 exhibitors showcasing the best in decor, design and homeware for five design-fuelled days.

Ginapalooza

GINAPALOOZA: GIN AND MUSIC FESTIVAL

Gin and tonic lovers are invited to a festival aimed at the craft, accompanied by live music performances. Included in the lineup for the day are The Muffinz, Tidal Waves, Deon Bakkes and the Stolen Horses, Thabiso Thabethe, Half ‘n Half and others.

Estelle Ravez

JPO EARLY SPRING SEASON – ESTELLE REVAZ

The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra presents their annual World Symphony Series 2018 Early Spring Season. On for the first week is conductor Daniel Raiskin and cellist Estelle Revaz. The programme includes works by Beethoven, Robert Schumann and Antonin Dvorak.

Dein Perry's Tap Dogs

DEIN PERRY’S TAP DOGS

Big Concerts brings Australia’s “most successful theatrical export”, Dein Perry’s Tap Dogs, to South Africa for a limited run. This 75-minute show combines the strength and power of workmen with the precision and talent of tap dancing. It features high-energy dance, theatrical performance and live music performed by a cast of six dancers and two musicians.

Pinotage on Tap

PINOTAGE ON TAP

Brought to Joburg by Diemersfontein Wines, Pinotage on Tap invites guests to an afternoon filled with good wine, good food and good music, with live performances from Freshlyground and Jesse Clegg. Tickets include the well-loved goodie bag and the opportunity to taste Pinotage wine flowing from the barrel taps.

Leila Henriques as Florence
