South Africa’s pioneering gin and tonic festival heads to Johannesburg.
Featuring prolific local gin distilleries and a selection of international stalwarts with over 20 distillers showcasing their craft, the line-up ncludes industry favourites as well as new entrants to the gin scene. Each participating gin vendor hosts a stall on the day, offering tasters for the inclined spirit connoisseurs, as well as a menu of signature cocktails. These are available as single or double serves, crafted by the ginsmiths and mixologists behind the bars and complimented with a sprig of botanical flare and flavour.
In addition to the opportunity to sip through some of South Africa’s innovative producers; a G&T glass, comprehensive gin booklet as well as a welcome drink, are all included in the ticket. Patrons are also given a choice with artisanal tonics and mixers, as well as a selection of Neighbourgoods Market’s regular food vendors. A list of local musicians and DJs perform on the day.
