michael-mcintyreBritain’s biggest comedian, Michael McIntyre, makes a stop in Johannesburg for his big world tour.

McIntyre performs in arenas across the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as revisiting Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and Norway before heading to America, Canada, Switzerland, Iceland, Sweden, Malta and the Netherlands for the first time.

In the United Kingdom, McIntyre has performed three arena tours – selling over 1.5 million tickets, including a record twenty-eight times at London’s 16 000 capacity O2 Arena where he was awarded the keys to the venue, along with Prince, Take That and One Direction.

Around the word, he has previously sold out arenas in New Zealand, Australia and Dubai and holds the record for the biggest selling comedy shows in South Africa and Normal. McIntyre currently presents his own television show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show on BBC1. The last series averaged over 6.5 million viewers and recently two BAFTA nominations. Guests are advised that there is a mature content age restriction at the event.

  1. There are so many fun and interesting things to do in and around Johannesburg for example, golfing, eating out and visiting heritage sites like the Melville Koppies or museums.
    Johannesburg is culturally beautiful. Another great advantage of partaking in all these adventurous activities is that there is a host of guest houses and bed & breakfasts available to rest.
    One such place I found to be of high quality was Melville Manor.
