We live in an amazing country of incredible opportunity and I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else in the world.” She also takes part in the Maynardville Open Air Shakespeare and the National Arts Festival.
The Pink Couch is a young, sexy company, founded in 2009 by Tara Louise Notcutt, Albert Pretorius, Gideon Lombard, and Mathew Lewis. The Pink Couch strives to do work that is young, fresh, English, Afrikaans, and exciting, getting young people into theatre. The Pink Couch then welcomed James MacGregor to take a seat, as well as the marvelous Andrew Laubscher – two very talented and handsome young lads. Since 2009, they have rocked and rolled their way into the national theatre scene, as well as making an international mark with their debut show “…miskien”. From Stellenbosch to Grahamstown to Potchefstroom to Perth and to Amsterdam, this is a company that is most certainly going places.
