Fourways Farmers Market boldly claims to be ‘the most beautiful outdoor market in Johannesburg’, and if you’ve been there you’d understand why. The market is situated a mere 10-minute drive from Sandton in the 265-hectare Modderfontein Reserve, the second-largest private park in Gauteng with a number of scenic dams, grassland, and hills.
The market is home to over 60 carefully selected vendors offering divine and diverse gourmet delights to tempt all the foodies for breakfast or lunch.
There is an incredible selection of locally made cheeses, cured meats, sweet treats, jams, freshly squeezed juices, preserves, and finally, beautifully handcrafted jewellery, clothing, beauty products, and decor.
Fridays@Fourways was recently launched. Each Friday the market stays open until late and includes live entertainment.
Cost: R10 entrance fee, kids and pensioners enter free, and pets are welcome
When: Saturdays & Sundays from 8am to 5pm (live music starts from 12:30pm to 4:30pm)
