Johannesburg International Comedy FestivalThe Johannesburg International Comedy Festival is back for a three-day programme from 31 March to 2 April at Emperors Palace.

Comedy Central, BET Africa, IOL and the Department of Arts & Culture present the largest independent international comedy festival on the continent. Local comedians on the bill include Jason Goliath, Rob van Vuuren and Eugene Khoza while international acts include Aliya Kanani (Canada) and Emo Majok (Australia).

The line-up features a mix of established and up-and-coming acts and numerous podcast sessions are also held throughout the festival.

The Johannesburg International Comedy Festival was first held in 2015 and provides a platform for comedic talent.
