Hosted in September 2023, jazz lovers can expect more headlining acts to take to the stage in 2024.

The Standard Bank Joy of Festival is one of Africa’s premier jazz festivals in Johannesburg. Jazz lovers will be reintroduced to the music, while novices discover the magic of jazz.

The 2023 show featured one of the most successful cross-over musician of his generation – Swiss harpist Andreas Vollenweider and Friends Ayanda Nhlangothi, Vusi Nhlapo and Vuyo Tshuma on Vocals, on the Dinaledi Stage. Another Grammy Award winner, pianist and composer Robert Glasper headlined on The Conga Stage, alongside a league of contemporary jazz giants respected in straight ahead jazz and their foray into other genres.

You can also look forward to multi-award-winners from Standard Bank Young Artist for Jazz award alumnus, which is another highlight of the annual show. Artist lineup TBA.
