The Rand Show has been a staple annual Easter holidays tradition in South Africa, inviting thousands to celebrate the Easter Weekend together. The event is great for the entire family, with something for everyone to enjoy.

For the kids, there is a Kids Hall, with its Candy Land theme and exciting activities. Children can play sports games, explore the world of virtual reality, bounce around in the jump zone, learn a thing or two from the educational theatre and more.

The Craft Cafe at Clearwater Mall is one of the biggest family-friendly Easter events in Johannesburg not to be missed. Head to their Rochester Court for fun and exciting ways for kids to get creative and play to their heart’s content.

There are 5 set workshops running daily at various times. The centre is also hosting a special space for kids to play during sessions, and try multiple workshops throughout the day. All materials and tools needed are included in the rates, and kids can take home their finished creations.

Disney’s My Son Pinocchio Jr is a retelling of a Disney classic filled with a mixture of magic, suspense, fun and excitement. Pinocchio, the little wooden puppet who after a series of adventures is magically brought to life by The Blue Fairy, must show that he is BRAVE, HONEST and UNSELFISH before he can become a real boy.

The performance features the beloved songs ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’ and ‘I’ve Got No Strings’, alongside a host of other songs tackling timely issues about what it means to be “the perfect child” – and what it means to be “a real father.”

JoyJozi: Fun activities and a cuisine experience for the whole family this Easter

JoyJozi is a one-of-a-kind playground, restaurant, and experiential venue designed for families to unwind together. This Johannesburg restaurant incorporates everything from safe and interactive play spaces indoors, to fine dining, and a host of unique pop-up experiences.
