See this immersive new exhibition at JCAF

Ecospheres art exhibition in Johannesburg unpacks the notion of Symbioscene and the belief that humans are designed to live as part of a harmonious interaction between all living creatures. This is opposed to the period we are currently living in, known as the Anthropocene, where human activity has been the dominant influence on climate and the environment.

Based on the elements of Water, Air and Earth, the exhibition is divided into three Atmosphere Rooms. These Atmospheres function as conceptual spaces that foreground and amplify various artists and artworks about the thematic ideas of the exhibition. Water is engaged as a mediator connecting the natural world to people, places and identity.

A winter playground is up at Melrose Arch

The Melrose Arch Playground is a pop-up activity zone in collaboration with Clamber Club, that features an ice rink, fun activities and much more, this experience is set to warm hearts of all ages this school holiday. 

Kids can try a range of activities such as a challenging obstacle course, an arts and crafts corner, a jumping castle, and a soft pond play area for smaller children. A face painter is available to bring colourful creations to life.
