An unusual exhibition and attend workshops at Blaauwklippen sees a collaboration between the Western Cape Association of Flower Arrangers and Fabric Art Cape Town, resulting in a creative weekend of flowers and fabric.
A series of classes are offered at the iconic wine farm's Barrel Room. Choices include 'Kringe in die Bos' - a flower arrangement workshop using designs inspired by Daleen Mathee's best-selling novel. Or there's a class offering a fusion of florals and textiles - 'Twisted Yarn' - based on interpretations of quilts.
The exhibition running alongside the workshops showcases the talents and inspirations of the Cape's creatives through two complimentary mediums and materials.
