Hasher Family Wines presents its Autumn Harvest Celebration and Vineyard Forage - a joyful gathering marking the conclusion of a busy season, where the fruits of labour come together with great company and delicious seasonal delicacies to perfectly complement the estate's wines.
The estate's quarterly ‘Family & Fine Wine Feasts’ have become a cherished tradition in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, where adults savour exceptional wines and children enjoy a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. These gatherings celebrate what we all love most: good food, great wine, and moments shared together.
The feasting begins in the cellar where winemaker, Natasha Williams, guides guests through a tasting of the first fermentations straight from the barrels—young, lively, and full of promise., as well as an exclusive tasting of the Marimist Chardonnay 2020 re-release. Then everyone is invited to gather around the harvest table, to enjoy chef-curated dishes featuring fresh cheeses, seasonal produce, and many more delightful surprises.
While parents sit back and savour the wines, the children set off with a trusted guide on an Easter forage through the vineyards, discovering authentic Belgian chocolate and the final harvest grapes waiting to be found.
