The Historic Motorcycle Museum is a working museum on the premises of Lake Avenue Inn in Deneysville. Its displays include some of the most unique historic motorcycles. It claims to be the first dedicated historic motorcycle museum in Africa, and its memorabilia includes race bikes and classic machinery.
The museum tracks the history of the motorcycle greats, and the curators ensure the race champions of South Africa and what was once called Northern and Southern Rhodesia will never be forgotten.
Owner John Boswell opened the venue in 2009, and his showroom is filled to capacity with over 150 bikes. Be sure to take a look at their wall of fame which many legends have signed.
