INTERTWINED: Dvorak and Brahms

South African virtuosos Nina Schumann, David Bester and Aristide du Plessis perform as a trio for piano, violin and cello for the first time.

The programme includes classics by Dvorak and Brahms, along with a newly composed piece by Stellenbosch composers Antoni Shonken and Arthur Feder.

Nina Schumann, widely regarded as one of South Africa’s foremost pianists, provides a refinement of sound and the utmost sensitivity and brilliance as a musician.

David Bester is passionate about teaching, chamber music, and research in string pedagogy.

Aristide du Plessis is an outstanding cellist and his performances showcase his positively explorative musicality.
