Zsa Zsa restaurant in CBD is reviving the beauty of burlesque in Cape Town with a vibrant new prohibition era-type experience for some midweek mystery. Opulent, lavish, and a little bit saucy, 'La Burlesque' is a glamorous dinner theatre concept that runs every Wednesday evening across the restaurant and secret nightclub within the same property.
The dinner and show package kicks off with a complimentary welcoming drink at 6:30pm for 7pm, followed by a three-course menu (starter and mains) of seafood, pasta, and burger options whipped up by Zsa Zsa's chef's team. For dessert, a cocktail or macaroons are served after the dance show. Drinks are billed separately.
Guests are whisked off to a secret entrance leading into a dimly lit space with swanky interiors where the variety show takes place.
The burlesque showcase is produced by The Psychedelic Theatre which is well known for putting on themed dance shows in South Africa and beyond. For La Burlesque though, guests can expect a fabulous array of performers delivering live song, burlesque contemporary dance, and striptease in dazzling costumes and lighting.
And after watching the dance, singing, and circus acts, Darling turns into a massive nightclub that is open until late.
