Mabula Game Reserve

Mabula Game Reserve is located in the malaria-free Waterberg area of Limpopo and is home to numerous animals such as lions, elephants, leopards, honey badgers and many more.

Mabula's Classic Safari Experience is offered to lodge guests twice a day, once in the early morning and again at late afternoon, allowing guests time to see all the animals that the Reserve provides a home to. For those seeking more of a thrill, Adventure Safari's provides the experience of seeing the Reserve from the back of a horse or on a go kart at extra cost. Additionally, the Reserve provides other activities such as golfing, bird walks, stargazing, dam picnics, crocodile feeding demonstrations and hot air ballooning and has a spa, Mabula Wellness, available for all guests.

Mabula Game Reserve places a large focus on conservation and is host to two particular conservation project - the Mabula Ground Hornbill Project, an award-winning non-profit conservation project that aims to change perceptions of the iconic but endangered species, and the Cheetah Conservation and Research Project, which seeks to reintroduce cheetah to areas where they have been driven out by conflict from farmers and habitat loss.
