Naked Coffee is combining their trademark artisanal coffee creations with one of South Africa's top liqueurs, Amarula. Limited-edition hot drink and the cocktail menu is crafted using Amarula's Ethiopian Coffee liqueur range. Mixologist Julian Short who runs Sin + Tax, one of Johannesburg's top cocktail bars, created the bespoke cocktails.
On the hot drinks menu are chai latte, a short and sweet espresso shot, and iced coffee. A miniature bottled shot of Amarula Ethiopian Coffee lia queue is served on the side, so you can choose to dash as much as you want.
For the cocktails, the Salted Caramel Popcorn comes highly recommended but also try the whisky-based Martini which gives an earthy twist to the classic.
Naked X Amarula Ethiopian Coffee can be tried until 31 August at the Morningside branch only. A creative selection of salads and burger options from tender steak fillets, crayfish, and the plant-based Beyond Burger is on the cards for brunch or late lunch.
