One of the many South Hill gems is its newly restored houseboat, tucked away on an inland lake, surrounded by vineyards. From its serene location to the chic Scandi-style, this 3-bedroom houseboat is perfect for an off-the-grid getaway allowing the guest to switch off from life and take a breath of fresh air. The House Boat, Stokies Ark, provides a unique location and gorgeous views of the surrounding Kogelberg Biosphere mountains and South Hill vineyards.
The houseboat is well suited for a family trip, romantic getaway, or just a weekend away with friends. It sleeps 6 adults (or 4 adults and 4 children) and offers various amenities and activities. Some of these include swimming, kayaking, wine tasting, having a braai and an uninterrupted view of the stars.
The dam is populated by a variety of bird life and is perfect for swimming, catch & release bass fishing. Kayaks are available and we encourage you to bring your own SUP, fishing rods and any other water sport crafts. The House Boat is available on a self-catering basis. Your stay includes a wine tasting of the South Hill range of wines.
