In a wine auction with a difference, top comedian Nik Rabinowitz takes the stage, doubling as auctioneer, while guests enjoy a 3-course meal and a specially curated wine list by a top sommelier.

The event is in aid of NSRI Hout Bay which has been part of the community since 1979. During this time, the rescue base has undertaken 902 operations, rescued 1676 people, and assisted 385 vessels. The station is manned by four crews comprising of more than 50 unpaid, passionate and dedicated volunteers.
Support of the Wine & Art Fiesta directly contributes to NSRI Hout Bay’s base rebuild, planned for 2024. The rebuild is necessary to house the new generation 14.8m deep sea Offshore Rescue Craft (ORC), currently under construction. Support will also enable active rescue operations assisting the fishing, yachting and water sports communities of Hout Bay and surrounds when they need help at sea.
