Mandisi Dyantyis and his newly formed 'Mandisi Dyantyis Jazz Orchestra' play one magical night of music at the South African State Theatre.
Mandisi's career in music is one filled with achievement and accolades, as the artist and music director earned himself an NAACP nomination for Best Musical Director, followed by an artist's residency in New York. He has also worked alongside many South African talents whilst perfecting his two albums released in 2018 and 2021 respectively.
This special show features compositions from both Mandisi's 2018 album, 'Cwaka' and 2021 album, 'Somandla', along with a few new songs, all performed with the spectacular support of an incredible 18-piece Big Band.
