Vergelegen’s International Camellia Garden of Excellence, the only International Camellia Garden in Africa, and one of only 39 International Camellia Gardens in the world, hosts a spectacular show of pink, white and red blooms at this time of the year. To celebrate, Vergelegen is hosting its annual Camellia Weekend to give guests the opportunity to walk through these magnificent blooms with its expert gardening team.
Tickets include the access fee to the estate, the camellia garden tour with resident horticulturists Richard Arm and Chris Randlehoff, plus coffee or tea with a delicious slice of home baked cake, or scone, at Café Fleur. This restaurant interior, adorned with fresh flowers and botanical-inspired art, has three fireplaces to keep guests cosy after exploring the outdoors.
