Africa Day Groove is a gathering of music, art and literature lovers and most of all lovers of Africa. It is the Soweto Theatre’s celebration to commemorate the Africa liberation day which was first held in Ethiopia in 1963, which symbolizes the Unity of Africans to achieve greatness.
Talent from across the country and continent is showcased through music and African Knowledge systems workshops.
The day aims to celebrate and teach about Africa, with different cultures, languages and musical styles.
