Two of South Africa’s finest musicians are joined by a French cellist, to play seldom-heard trios.
Flautist Liesl Stolz, pianist Francois du Toit and cellist David Pinoit are commited and assured chamber musicians. They play works by Hummel, Carl Czerny and Debussy. Programme: Hummel’s Adagio, Variations and Rondo on a Russian Theme, Carl Czerny’s Fantasia Concertante for Piano, Flute and Cello, Opus 256, Debussy’s Piano Trio , Charl Du Plessis & Corlea.
This event offers guests an evening with Mr Cole Porter, presented with Charl du Plessis and his trio. Soprano Corlea Botha has sung with some of the great South African songbirds and is equally at home in jazz and grand opera.
