John Moore opens his latest exhibition, titled Etchings, which features a collection of 60 pieces, from small 10cm x 15cm pieces to the much larger 2m x 1m works. A central theme running though the show is the artist’s environmental concerns.
Moore’s work is highly detailed, taking many hours to create due to its complexity and also because the artist uses age old techniques and processes invented in Rembrandt’s time to make sure each print is created to last over 500 years. Some of his larger works have taken eight months or more per piece to complete.
