The South African Book Fair 2020 hosts “Masculinity, Misogyny And African Psychology”, a discussion between South African authors centering upon the gendered journeys of boys to men and girls to women in contemporary South African townships.
The dialogue features Malose Langa (Becoming Men: Black Masculinities In A South African Township), Kopano Ratele (The World Looks Like This From Here: Thoughts On African Psychology) and Ayanda Borotho (Unbecoming ToBecome: My Journey Back To Self). Author, community development worker, and social commentator, Malebo Sephodi (Miss Behave), directs the conversation.
