Winter Sculpture Fair


Artlogic has teamed up with Franshhoek Tourism to bring to the Fair the best food and wine from the famed Cape valley. Visitors can purchase goods from over 40 exhibitors to tailor-make their own picnic experience amongst the sculptures. This year’s winter exhibition, Not a single story, is open to the public throughout the Winter Sculpture Fair.

Joburg Ballet a Dazzling Gala


Joburg Ballet makes its debut at Montecasino with an unmissable gala for one performance only. The company partners with some of South Africa’s top singers to bring audiences a programme of highlights from great ballets, musicals and operas.

Design Joburg


Johannesburg’s premier event showcasing the leaders in décor and design. The show welcomes the return of creative directors Andrea Kleinloog and Megan Hesse, plus décor doyen Sumari Krige, who once again enhances the Rooms on View experience.

Bassline Fest


Now in its fourteenth year as the only Johannesburg-based festival that celebrates African unity and diversity, Bassline Fest is set to platform music, food, and dialogue to promote social cohesion across the continent. Confirmed artists include Yemi Alade, Dub Inc (France), Flavia Coelho , Nakhane, Sipho Hotstix Mabusa, Azah, Elida Almeida and many others.

Reptile Expo


The SOS2 Reptile Expo features special guest Brian Barczyk from Snakebaytes TV, and also has a number of goods on sale: cages, dry goods, merchandise, books, magazines, DVDs, plants, insects, thermostats, vitamins and accessories. Baby reptiles and arachnids are on display, and guests attend courses to learn how to feed reptiles or save someone bitten by a snake.

Legendary South African rock band, Seether, returns to their home soil for a live, one-night-only concert. The band is set to perform tracks from their latest album, Poison the Parish.

The Art of Pairing


Come Wine With Us and Boschendal Wine host an evening of fine pairings of premium Boschendal wines with complementary food from Sophia’s Bistro, as well as special hand-selected premium art pieces from Henry George Gallery. Each guest receives a welcome glass of MCC, as well as a three-course ‘food art’ meal inspired by and enjoyed with Boschendal wines.

hamlet and othello


Think Theatre, in association with The Playhouse Company, presents the return of two of The Bard’s tragedies, Hamlet and Othello. Acclaimed for its teaching-aid productions of Shakespeare set works for matric school learners, these two plays are among the most renowned human dramas ever mounted on the English stage.

Untapped Craft Brew Festival


The collab festival is put together in the spirit of working with one another as brew masters across South Africa combine their talents to create new combinations. Live entertainment includes performances by Gangs of Ballet, Majozi, Will Rayz, Jaryd Smith, Charlie Finch and Stuart Reece.
