Jazz in the Cradle celebrates youthful musicians crafting new rooted rhythms in the future.
The concert brings together an expertly curated line-up of jazz music performances with luxurious family-oriented summer experience in NIROX Sculpture Park in the Cradle of Humankind.
Festival cuisine is provided by the Epicurean Emporium – a selection of traders from the food & design markets in Johannesburg. Bernie’s Bar keeps guests hydrated throughout.
NIROX Sculpture Park is located on 20 hectares of landscaped gardens and waterways in the Cradle of Humankind – a World Heritage Site – and is committed to excellence in all disciplines of contemporary arts.
The Cradle of Humankind comprises 47,000 hectares of rural and wilderness land. It is a highly active scientific research area where more than 40% of all of the world’s hominid fossils have been discovered. 3 million years of human activity have taken place in the Cradle, including the earliest known mastery of fire and humans becoming bi-pedal.
