The Lillian Gray Art School offers a paint night for getting creative with South Africa’s national flower for inspiration.
Billed as a chance to get away from the house for a Friday night and do something creative, this is an event open to everyone, even if the only thing they have ever painted is their walls.
Everything is provided: from table easels, brushes, and palettes, to a canvas A3 stretched on a frame ready to hang. There are also aprons and optional plastic gloves for those who wish to keep their hands clean. Drinks are available on arrival and during the event.
At the end of the night, participants have a picture of a protea to take home with them.
