The annual RapidLion Film Festival premieres the highest number of films by filmmakers who were either born in Africa or are members of the African diaspora. There is room for all genres and lengths of films in the different sections and feature films vie for the RapidLion Award in the In-Competition section of the festival.
Jan Harlan, German-American executive producer, is running three master-classes. These are not included as part of the festival pass.
