The Tiger Who Came to Tea is a theatre adaptation by David Wood of Judith Kerr’s classic picture book, with a mix of magic, mayhem and joyful interactive songs.
Sophie and her mummy sit down for tea, when all of a sudden the doorbell rings. They weren’t expecting anyone – least of all a big, stripy tiger. Things get a little crazy when the tiger tells them he is hungry and thirsty. He proceeds to eat all the sandwiches, all the buns, all the biscuits, and then he drinks all the milk and even drains all the water from the tap. Sophie is worried what Daddy will say when he comes home and there is no food for supper.
The talented cast includes child actors from NCT workshops alongside Marvin Molepo, Brandon Matthew Otto, and Chante’ Ras.
The show is a must-see for children aged 3 to 7.
