Singer-songwriter Unathi presents the second half of her Brave, True & Strong Tour.
The day features a programme of musicians throughout. Unathi showcases her 10-piece ensemble and soulful melodies among the lawns and waterways of NIROX Sculpture Park.
Unathi Nkayi is a South African singer, songwriter, Idols Judge and radio host. She has a number of accolades to her name, with two 2003 Metro FM awards, two nominations for the South African Music Awards and has been named twice as one of the top 10 people in media by The Star newspaper.
Festival cuisine is provided by the Epicurean Emporium – a selection of traders from the food & design markets in Johannesburg. Bernie’s Bar keeps guests hydrated throughout.
NIROX Sculpture Park is located on 20 hectares of landscaped gardens and waterways in the Cradle of Humankind – a World Heritage Site – and is committed to excellence in all disciplines of contemporary arts.
The Cradle of Humankind comprises 47,000 hectares of rural and wilderness land. It is a highly active scientific research area where more than 40% of all of the world’s hominid fossils have been discovered. 3 million years of human activity have taken place in the Cradle, including the earliest known mastery of fire and humans becoming bi-pedal.
