Wrapt Knitwear offers a range of limited edition knitwear made from sustainable yarn.
Their collections focus on tried and tested staples, each with a twist: a merino wool crewneck with a subtle bit of contrast colour around the neck; a cardigan with colour blocking elements; a long-sleeved tee made elegant by the texture of linen yarn. The use of natural, sustainable fibres has obvious ecological underpinnings, but it is as much for the sake of the beauty, tactility and durability of natural yarns.
Every piece is knitted and hand-finished at Wrapt’s premises at Victoria Yards, part of Johannesburg’s Makers Valley.
Knitting is done to order. Orders can be placed in person at Vic Yards (where there are also samples to try on) or online at www.wrapt.co.za. The usual timeline for production is 5-8 working days, but Wrapt’s personalised service makes it possible to accommodate requests for quicker turnaround. Orders over R1,000 are delivered free of charge anywhere in SA.
