Running up to their Open Day event next week, The Trinity Session is hosting a mushroom workshop with Afrifungi and a beginner’s painting class this weekend. Learn how to grow your own gourmet mushrooms in a sustainable way. The beginner’s painting workshop welcomes all ages, and materials and briefs are included. Children to be accompanied by adults.

ART, INTERIORS, AND INFORMATIVE TALKS AT DESIGN JOBURG

Design Joburg returns from 19 to 21 May at Sandton City Convention Centre to explore the latest trends through immersive experiences, home decor showrooms, and informative talks. 

Also included this year is a bumper emphasis on technology as startups take up some space with demonstrations while offering attendees an opportunity to experience the metaverse.

A MAGICAL DINING EXPERIENCE FILLED WITH FOOD AND FANTASY

DinnerTime Stories brings a two-hour-long immersive culinary dining experience, using innovative 3D projection-mapping technology to animate ‘Le Petit Chef’ – a 58-mm-tall animated character, who appears to be cooking guests’ meals on their plates. All the ingredients of the six-course meal are creatively served in props and prepared by Executive Chef Kelly Nqobani Nonjinge.
