Gourmet food and drink spots

Set up permanently in an open environment at the park, the 14 gourmet eateries and bars all specialise in a range of food offerings. Here you’ll find a world of flavours to try such as Texan Barbeque, Portuguese cuisine, and a taste of Argentina among others. There are also sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs, and Halaal-friendly food.

Seating spaces are available on the deck overlooking the park. Grab a brew of your choice at AfricaBlack Coffee Shop (open Monday-Sunday 7am-10pm) with ample seating and is surrounded by lush greenery.

Get your dog active with the Wiggle Waggle Walk-A-Thon

Every Saturday from 7am to 4pm, the Wiggle Waggle Walk-A-Thon invite dog owners and their furry companions for a group walk along the venue’s scenic trails.

This event is all about driving a sense of community among dog lovers and responsible pet ownership. To ensure safety and harmony within the park, all dogs must be kept on a leash. Visitors are kindly reminded to clean up after their pets.

After your walk, pop into Africa Black for your pup’s Pupp-a-chino and Bubble and Freak Syringa Park for a pupsicle to cool your pooch off while you try one of the on-site restaurants.

Join the Syringa Park Run/Walk, every Sunday

Swtich off every Sunday morning for 2.5km and 5km walks/runs through the nature trails at Syringa Park. Immerse yourself in the natural splendour that surrounds you, reconnecting with the earth and rejuvenating your spirit with every step.

Go-kart racing with Epic Karting

In the midst of the pandemic’s isolation, the concept of Syringa Park took root in the minds of Darin and Lisa Doliveira. Their journey began during the mandated daily walks, accompanied by their children and faithful rescue dogs, traversing the expansive grounds alongside the Crocodile River within Avianto Estate.

Whether it’s a romantic Valentine’s evening or a casual day out, Syringa Park is the ultimate destination for all ages.

Kids will love the massive MiFitness Kids Play Park

At 7000m2, MiFitness Kids is regarded as the grandest play park in South Africa and features the most epic jungle gym ever seen. The space offers an expansive and diverse range of activities for children. Situated within a secure area, parents can rest assured knowing that their children can play freely and safely.

Note that the play park hours differ to Syringa Park’s operating hours and no pets are allowed into the playground
