Oos Wes, Tuis Bes is a brand new evening of electrifying Afrikaans music happening at Carnival City on Saturday, 5 April 2025. Music lovers can look forward to some of the country’s best Afrikaans talent including Nicholis Louw, Bibi, Juan Boucher, Herman Kleinhans, and many more all on one stage. What is Oos Wes, Tuis Bes musical showcase about?
“Oos Wes, Tuis Bes is a one-of-a-kind event for the East Rand, created to bring Afrikaans music lovers together for an unforgettable experience,” explains Leolize Naidoo, Event Manager at Alliance Venue and Facilities Management. “We’re so excited to have an incredible lineup of Afrikaans artists who truly represent the Afrikaans culture and heritage. This event is all about celebrating the music, the artists we love, and the sense of community that makes Afrikaans culture so special. It’s going to be a day filled with great music, good vibes, and a whole lot of gees!”
Note that no children under 3 years are allowed at the event.

Oos Wes, Tuis Bes is headlined by top Afrikaans icons who will perform their biggest hits as well as numic music throughout the evening. The lineup includes Nicholis Louw, Bibi, Juan Boucher, Herman Kleinhans, Andriette Norman, Jan Rhaap, Tino, WG Nel, Twee and Ray Dylan.
