In honour of Clearwater Mall turning 21 this year, the centre invites all shoppers to participate in their 21st Birthday Challenge running from 10 May to 6 September 2025, for a chance to win R21 000 in Clearwater Mall gift cards. Here’s what you need to know.
How to participate in Clearwater Mall’s 21st Birthday Challenge
To earn your chance to win, participate in the mall’s birthday challenges taking place every Saturday at 12pm between 10 May and 23 August, with finals taking place on 6 September. Alternatively, you can complete one of the mini challenge cards to be entered in the final draw. Each challenge will be unique from fastest finger first to a race around the track, and loads of amazing prizes are up for grabs for the winners.

Challenge Two Hosted by Zorora
Be one of the first five participants in the queue and build a mini sofa in under 21 seconds. Fastest build under 21 seconds walks away with a R1000 CWM Gift Card, two seasonal scatter cushions, and a 10% Zorora discount voucher.

Challenge Three Hosted by Skechers
In this third challenge, participants have to guess the number of gum balls in the gum ball machine.
The first 10 people in line will each receive a chance to compete. Each of the 10 participants will be able to have a look at the gum ball machine and place their guess on how many gum balls they believe are in the gum ball machine.
The contestant out of the 10 competing to guess the closest number in the gum ball machine to the actual number, wins a R1000 Skechers Voucher.

Challenge Four Hosted by Indy Kart
In this fourth challenge, the fastest lap around the track in under 21 Seconds wins a R2100 Indy Kart Voucher (participating minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian).
The first 21 contestants in line in the Piazza are escorted to Indy Kart, where they each have a chance to attempt a lap around the Indy Kart track. The contestant who does the fastest lap under 21 seconds wins.

Challenge Five Hosted by Freedom of Movement
Test your knowledge in this fifth challenge and win a R2,100 Freedom of Movement voucher.
Freedom of Movement is a premium South African lifestyle brand selling men’s and women’s clothing, footwear, bags and accessories.
Be one of the first five people in line at the Clearwater Mall store to get a chance to compete in the quiz. Questions will be asked and visitors must raise their hands to answer. Answers shouted out will not receive the point and the question will be deemed invalid.
The person with the most correct answers will win and receive a R2100 Freedom of Movement voucher for the Clearwater Mall store only.

Challenge Six Hosted by Zorora
Be the fastest to build the Zorora Build-a-Sofa in under 21 Seconds and win a R1,000 Clearwater Mall Voucher, 2 Scatter Cushions and 10% discount voucher from Zorora.
The first five people in line at the store will have a chance to compete and the top 5 contestants who have the fastest time for a complete build will win the prize.
If a contestant does not manage to complete the challenge in 21 seconds, the next five people in line will have a chance to compete.
If you have won the challenge previously, you will not be able to compete in the challenge again

How to win using the mini challenge cards
Shoppers also stand a chance to win using the mini challenge card. Collect a card from the information desk from 10 May 2025. After each task on the challenge card is completed, take the card to the info desk and receive a CWM sticker which marks off the completed challenge. Complete the full challenge card, receive a prize and be entered into the final draw.
