Runners, take your mark as the annual Clearwater Mall race, in proud partnership with Panorama Running Club, returns on Saturday, 22 August 2026.
Building on years of community enthusiasm and athletic achievement, the event now offers participants three distances to choose from: the new 21km, the ever-popular 10km race and the family-friendly 5km fun run. Here’s what you need to know.
Get ready to go the distance
The Clearwater Mall race event welcomes participants aged 16 and up for the 21km run, 14+ for the 10km run, and children aged 5 and older for the 5km fun run.
Prizes for the top finishers in each category
Bragging rights aren’t the only thing on offer. From podium finishes to mountain conquests, there’s plenty to aim for. Cash prizes will be awarded across distances and age groups, with special honours reserved for those who outpace the pack on the toughest climb to be crowned King or Queen of the Mountain.
Break the 10km course records – 30m 49s for men or 36m 27s for women – and you’ll earn more than applause. Winners will be celebrated at the prize giving, kicking off at 8.30am in the finish area.
Need to know before you go
Entries are now open, with online registration closing at 11.59pm on 18 August 2026. In-centre registration will be available at the Info Court (Entrance 2) on 20 and 21 August 2026 from 1pm to 7pm. No entries are available on race day – only collections.
