This year, The Grand Pop Up: Christmas Is in the Air Market brings together over 35 local designers, artisans, and small businesses for two days of festive shopping, music, food, drinks, and celebration at the elegant Royal Johannesburg Golf Club in Linksfield.

Expect a vibrant mix of décor, jewellery, fashion, self-care, beauty, treats and delicious food and drinks, all carefully selected to capture the spirit of the season and help tick off your festive gifting lists.

The duo behind the pop up

This festive market is made possible by best friend duo, Eddy and Karen, who turned their shared passion for local creativity into the flourishing community of small businesses that is, The Grand Pop Up.

What started as a shared dream to create beautiful spaces where local entrepreneurs could shine, has grown into one of Johannesburg’s most-loved boutique pop up market experiences.

Their ethos is simple: local is better. Every market is a love letter to South African creativity, a place where community, connection, and craftsmanship come together.
