Since its 2019 launch, AURUM restaurant at The Leonardo has perfected the trend of glamorous dining, and years later the space still feels as fresh and relevant as ever. No doubt thanks to the regular dining events and wine tasting experiences hosted at the space.

This Sandton institution, which translates to gold, continues to shine with a modern European menu approach. 

Mains include a small selection of meat cuts cooked perfectly and creative pasta and risotto options. Chef Chef Rihan Gerber continues to do magical things with seafood namely West Coast mussels, Saldanha bay oysters, and sustainably caught linefish among others. Service and presentation are sharp.

The restaurant is part of a series of distinct dining spaces at The Leonardo. Octo Bar serves woodfired pizzas, tapas alongside some great cocktails and spirits. Leo’s Lounge is a casual bar serving the finest coffees and spirits, and The Deli specialises in all-day dining and sandwiches, meals, and pastries to go.
