The diverse flora and fauna of The Cradle Moon Conservancy take centre stage for an exciting game drive led by an experienced ranger. The guided tour weaves through the Zwartkop and Driefontein farms, including Ekudeni, Eduzani, Bell Gables, Riverview Spa, the gorgeous Glenburn Lodge, and Kloofzicht, spanning around 1600 hectares.
On your excursion, you can expect sightings of the rhino, eland, kudu, wildebeest, zebra, duiker, impala, springbuck, blesbuck, hyena and lots more wildlife.

Boat cruises
Go on a scenic journey aboard the 24-seater pontoon for a private charter or spontaneous cruise on the tranquil 22-hectare Lake Heritage. This 1.5-hour escapade offers the chance to marvel at the diverse game and birdlife from the water level.
Lucky guests might encounter the resident African Fish Eagle family and catch a glimpse of the reserve’s elusive Hippo. Snacks and drinks are served on board for your own account.

Open water swimmers can explore the stunning 32-hectare Lake Heritage, teeming with diverse fish, birds, and reptiles. The lake is fed by the pristine Crocodile River and regularly attracts swimmers, paddlers, and rowers for training.
Marked by buoys, the Hi-Tec Water Course is located centrally in the Cradle of Humankind and is considered a favoured training spot for MTB and Road Duathletes and Triathletes.
There are a number of hiking, running and trail biking routes spanning 1600 hectares, from beginner-friendly paths to challenging trails. On your way you’ll encounter iconic landmarks and abundant wildlife, immersing yourself in nature’s wonders with every stride.

Dine and drink at Current Restaurant
Current Restaurant is a bar and dining space situated right on the dam wall with a large deck. This 120 seater serves up an effortless menu with popular dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner favourites.
