Croc City Crocodile and Reptile Park, located in Nietgedacht, Joburg, offers thrill-seekers and animal enthusiasts the chance to get up close and personal with a variety of creatures, including crocodiles, snakes, and other reptiles. 1. Watch the Nile Crocodile Feeding
On Saturdays and Sundays from around 12pm, visitors will get a chance to see the professional Croc City handlers feed the huge Nile crocodiles – a truly spectacular and unique sight.
2. Join a guided tour of Croc City
Let the experts show you around the facilities with a fascinating guided tour to learn more about reptiles and their habitats. Tours take place every hour, between 9am – 4.30pm daily.
3. Try the Reptile Interaction Experience for all ages
Meet, hold, and learn about baby crocodiles, snakes and leopard tortoises in this unforgettable close-up experience.
4. Marvel at the Venomous Snake Show
The Venomous Snake Show takes place on Sundays and Public holidays at 11:00. This special experience provides insights into the scaly creatures’ lives – covering a wide range of venomous snake facts and myths. The professional tour guides also discuss snake safety, including precautions to take if you ever come face-to-face with these creatures in the wild. You will even have the unique opportunity to safely touch a live Puff Adder and ask questions.
Limited numbers are allowed into the venomous snake show, so make sure to arrive as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

5. Rev up the adrenaline with a Croc City Flyover – A zipline you won’t forget
Designed for the adrenaline junkies among us, this is a zipline with a difference. Brave visitors can fly meters above the ground – over three ponds of crocodiles. Suitable for those aged 11 and upwards, it’s a great way for teenagers to show their mettle, and for parents to prove they are still young at heart. Zipliners experience a bird’s eye view of the large, scaly reptiles as they glide over them from as much as eight metres above the ground, James Bond-style. Guaranteed to pump up the heart rate!
If the little ones are also craving a flying experience, Croc City has something for them too: there’s a kids zipline for those aged 10 and under, on the lawn (not over the crocodiles).

Croc City provides all the setup, decorating, and clean-up – and with birthday parties in Johannesburg running all year long no matter the weather, the entertainment centre really takes the stress out of party planning for kids.
