Visitors can choose their preferred picnic spot, from shaded lawns to picturesque garden settings, each providing a backdrop of the estate's manicured landscapes and historic architecture. Complementing the culinary delights, Allee Bleue's exquisite wines, ranging from crisp whites to robust reds, add a layer of refinement to the picnic experience.
The South African inspired menu includes:
- Feta, Cheddar and Mozzarella Quiche, served with a Pinotage reduction.
- Traditional creamy potato salad, served with red onions and garlic chives.
- Cajun chicken breast salad, served with farm olives, tomatoes, and a lemon
and herb dressing.
- Mini fish cakes crumbed with Japanese flaked breadcrumbs, and a coriander
infused tropical salsa.
The dessert consists of a dark chocolate brownie, served with a butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream.
