An Ode to Motown

'An Ode to Motown' tells the remarkable story of Motown that originated in Detroit, and the birth of Hitsville.

A bunch of songwriters, given room to weave stories and some of the finest tunes, from R&B to Neo Soul. Songs that echoed the plight, the joy, and the uncertainty of the time they emanated from. Songs that became the conduit between the people and their aspirations.

Songs of hope, songs of love lost, and love found. Timeless songs that have inspired generations of songwriters. The production travels back in time to salute the iconic Berry Gordy and the Motown label, and how his music label became a portal of possibilities.

Expect a collage of songs and stories penned by the songwriters who called Motown home, which include Marvin Gaye, Commodores, Diana Ross & The Supremes, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, and Jackson 5.
