Afrikan Freedom Station is an Afrocentric artistic space in Sophiatown hosting the Soweto leg of the 'What If We Align Our Breath Album' release tour featuring Shane Cooper and Andreas Tschopp.
Andreas Tschopp is a pioneering Swiss trombonist and composer who blended contemporary jazz with South African kudu horns and homemade ocarinas to create the unique record 'What if We Align Our Breath', with his album co-producer, Shane Cooper, a Johannesburg-based bassist and producer.
The album release party features the duo creating a 360° experience with unique music, a live duo set on wind and string instruments and samplers, a record listening session, and the pair discussing the album.
