As seen on Britain’s Got Talent, Showtime at the Apollo and winner of the BBC’s Even Better Than the Real Thing, Cape Town-based singer and TV star Belinda Davids returns to The Mandela at Joburg Theatre with her international hit show, The Greatest Love of All.
2026 marks the thirteenth year of global touring for the popular Whitney Houston tribute, the show that skyrocketed Davids to stardom and landed her ‘viral’ TV moments on Showtime at the Apollo (Fox USA), Got Talent All Stars (Europe) and Even Better Than the Real Thing (BBC UK).
This is The Greatest Love of All’s eighth season at Joburg Theatre, and people returning to the show can expect some new songs – as specially requested by fans – added to the setlist.
Davids is again joined on stage by her live band, which includes Jozi locals Mfundo ‘Scales’ Mbuli on piano, Thembelihle Ndimande on bass guitar, Travis Johnston on drums, Tshepo Tsotetsi on saxophone and Refentse May on backing vocals.
Accompanied by her live band and backing vocalists, plus glorious state-of-the-art sound, lighting, vision and theatrical FX, making this a beautifully crafted tribute to one of the world’s most revered singers.
