The Cape Town Pride Festival & Mardi Gras provides an opportunity for Cape Townian queer folk and allies to strut their stuff on the streets in celebration of queerness and self-expression.
The annual festival brings visitors from LGBTI+ communities from all across the globe together as the rainbow community of Africa, celebrating the incredible diversity of the beautiful city of Cape Town and its people.
South African top artists perform on the main stage all day and there is a full market with loads of places to eat and drink. Featured entertainment acts this year include Kings Collab, He Plays Violin, Stella Rosé, Leila Van Der Ross, Jimmy Nevis, Lelowhatsgood, Cece Vee, and Jarrad Rickets.
