Take in an evening of jazz and cocktails featuring the sounds of NALA Collective.
NALA Collective is a Cape Town-based initiative supporting women musicians by providing a safe, empowering space for them to thrive. The collective focuses on performing works by South African women composers, who are often underrepresented, and also includes music by artists like Esperanza Spalding.
With a rotating lineup of vocalists, NALA Collective offers opportunities for more talented female singers to be heard, fostering a community where all voices can shine.
This special performance lineup features Rebecca Viljoen, Marzia Barry, and Sarah Pengilly (voice), Hope Hadebe (trombone and voice), Carli Morkel (tenor saxophone), Shandy Sarantos (electric guitar), Rouxné Schutte (piano), Adam Selikowitz (bass guitar), and Tanatswa Pepukai (drums).
