Join this hands-on fermentation event hosted by fermentation expert, Che from Che Gourmet, forming a part of the Che Gourmet Gut Health & Fermentation Foodie Focus series.
The workshop focuses on how to make kimchi, kraut and whole brined fermented foods. Guests get to create their very own hand crafted, one-of-a-kind ferments to take home in their own Che Gourmet 1kg fermentation stations. The workshop has an array of organic veggies, herbs and spices so guests can customise their ferment to their liking.
The workshop allows for a safe anaerobic fermentation to take place at home especially for first timers and also allows guests to create a flavour profile to best suit them. Che is on hand to assist with every step in the process to ensure guests understand fully the techniques and skills needed to ferment safely on the day and while at home.
Also included in the workshop experience are ferment snacks and nibbles, recipes and an info booklet to take notes in and take home, and two Che Gourmet 1kg fermentation stations. Available for purchase on the day are additional Che Gourmet fermentation stations and the complete Che Gourmet range of fermented foods.
