Classic Cars offers guests the opportunity to tour Cape Town’s most beautiful coastal road, Chapman's Peak, in style. Guests choose between one of four vintage rides and take in the beautiful chrome details, the nostalgic smell of old leather and a purring motor on the luxurious 3-hour drive.
The tour stops at one of the beautiful coastal panoramic viewpoints where guests enjoy complimentary drinks as the chauffeur shares the history and specifications of the vintage car.
The tour begins with a dedicated chauffeur picking guests up from accommodation in their car of choice and then heading towards Chapman’s Peak Drive. A stop to enjoy drinks and snacks, learn about the car, enjoy beautiful views or take photographs is included, with the chauffeur always making sure glasses are never empty. The tour ends with a drive back where guests can watch the sunset overlooking Chapman’s Peak.
Cars to choose from include the 1956 and 1959 Rover and the 1959 and 1964 Jaguars, as well as the Mustang Coupe and Fastback. The Chapman’s Peak Cruise takes up to three hours and bookings are essential. Classic Cars additionally offers Stellenbosch wine tours, Constantia Winelands tours and a Peninsula tour.
