The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra continues its Winter Symphony season with local conductor Bernhard Gueller and cellist Hayoung Choi.
Choi is an international star cellist, having won first place at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels and the Krzysztof Penderecki Cello Competition in Kraków. Bernhard Gueller is a German-born conductor who has since been made Conductor Laureate for Life by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra. The programme features Haydn's Cello Concerto No. 1 in C Major, Hob. VIIb:1; and Bruckner's Symphony No. 7 in E Major.
