Craig Hinds, lead vocalist, guitarist, and principal songwriter of South African pop rock band Watershed, performs a solo acoustic set at Die Boer. The programme combines new, unreleased material with selections from Watershed's catalogue of South African chart hits.
Watershed was founded in Johannesburg in 1998 and released their debut album In the Meantime in 2000. The band is best known for the singles "Indigo Girl" and "Letters", with "Indigo Girl" achieving international reach after the track was played on German radio during its initial release period. The band subsequently toured Germany and released recordings in both South Africa and Europe. In 2013, Hinds released his first solo album, Ordinary Boy.
Die Boer is a dinner-theatre venue established in 2005, seating 120 across all tables with unobstructed sightlines to the stage. The acoustic format of this performance suits the venue's close configuration.
